Policies & Requirements

         Thank you for choosing Happy Wags Lodge & Spa to care for your pet (s) while you are away on a business trip or perhaps a vacation.  Our goal is to make your pet’s stay with us a vacation of their own
- with plenty of playtime, personalized pamper time and a treat at the end of the day (providing owner has given permission).

Here is some helpful information regarding requirements for boarding with us.

        All first time Kennel clients must fill out our Client Registration & Pet Intake Form (PDF) and Waiver & Consent (PDF) and return to us (happywagsmobilegrooming@gmail.com) prior to boarding date.  You will then only have to sign and date our drop-off sheet.

        All pets boarding at Happy Wags must be up to date on the required vaccinations.  If a vaccination is not current, said vaccine must be administered a minimum of five (5) days prior to boarding.  Vaccinations required are as follows:
        Bordetella (Kennel Cough) - required yearly
        Dpp - Distemper
        Rabies
        Parvo
        Canine Influenza (recommended but not required)

        If your pet is not up to date on his/her vaccinations, your pet will not be allowed to board.

        Please allow time at drop off to review Registration forms as well as any other paperwork necessary for your pet’s boarding stay.

        We are all inclusive in our boarding fees -  unlimited potty breaks, fresh water available in each kennel, 2 meals (breakfast and dinner), bedding, plenty of exercise in the play yard during the day, and pampering by staff members.  No additional charges for meals (if forgotten by owner) or time spent in play areas during the day.

        Doggie Breeds (20 lbs and under)
               $35.00 nightly for the 1st Dog and $30.00 for each additional Dog

        Standard Breeds (21 lbs to 99 lbs)
               $45.00 nightly for the 1st Dog and $40.00 for each additional Dog

        Giant Breeds (100 lbs +)
               $55.00 nightly for the 1st Dog and $40.00 for each additional Dog

       Dogs, once they become familiar with their new surroundings, will have a wonderful time, almost like your children at summer camp.

 NO aggressive dogs will be allowed.

For the protection of all our guests, any animal that is obviously sick will not be allowed.

        All animals must be on a flea prevention program.  Arrivals with fleas will be bathed and treated at the owner’s expense.

        Please bring enough food for your dog’s stay.  Please package per serving, in separate bags. Zip lock bags work really well. Please label everything.  In the event you forget - there will be a premium dog food available - so do not worry - your dog will not go hungry.

        Do not overfeed your pet right before going to the kennel. Not necessary.  He will be fine.

        Treats, toys, beds, bowls.  We provide everything your dog will need while staying in our care. It is not necessary to bring these items from home.

        We suggest that your dog (s) get a bath on your pickup date.  (Regardless of our efforts to keep the kennels and yards clean, there may be instances where your dog (s) may get dirty.

        Any boarding cancellations must be done by email.  We require 7 days cancellation notice.

        Your pet (s) will be supervised and well cared for by our dedicated staff.  We throw in extra Love and cuddles free of charge.
