Happy Wags is a full service dog boarding and grooming business serving the greater Charleston area.  Yes, we recently expanded our business to include boarding and on-site grooming.  Our mobile pet grooming unit is a self-contained salon on wheels.  It is fully equipped with a stainless steel tub for bathing which has a perforated shelf to accommodate smaller dogs, stainless steel adjustable work table, on demand hot water, climate control, and high velocity dryer for a sterile, comfortable, professional environment.  The unit is also equipped with a generator, fresh and gray water tanks and all the conveniences of a regular grooming parlor.  One-on-one attention in the comfort of your driveway.  Click here to see our frequently asked questions.

Happy Wags Lodge & Spa is now ready to welcome your loved ones for grooming and boarding.

 

We are a full service grooming and boarding facility.  The same services are being offered at our recently opened brick and mortar location (3656 Humbert Road, Johns Island) as are offered in our van.  We did have a larger tub installed at the kennel, however, to accommodate bigger dogs.  In addition to our grooming services we will be offering overnight boarding.

We are able to board both small and large dogs.  Even cats when there is availability.  While away for business or vacation your pet will be well cared for.  We have 15 various sized kennels.  Each one of your furry loved ones will have their own elevated cot and a stuffed animal to sleep

with.  Two meals are provided each day.  In the event their food is forgotten - we will provide house food - no guest will go hungry.

 

The day is filled with scheduled playtime, naps and one-on-one time with a staff member.  Any medication required will be administered per directions.  Each kennel has a door to the outside for unlimited potty breaks.  Each kennel will always have a water pail available.

 

Grooming is not only about looking good but also about hygiene and health.  Your pet should be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain the health of their skin and hair.

 

We have a full time groomer on staff at our kennel.  Services offered include a full groom which is a haircut, bath, ear cleaning and nail clipping or dremeling.  A bath special includes ear cleaning and nail clipping or dremeling.  All services include a bath.  We offer specialized shampoos, current haircuts and humane dematting and sanitary trims.

 

Boarding and grooming go hand and hand.  We recommend the bath special before our guests depart.
